Day 28: 11/07/17 Conflans to Rueil Malmaison

Rueil seemed like a pleasant stop in an affluent area. I picked up a few groceries at an expensive shop, and returned to find the kids playing in the trees beside the pontoon. After a simple tea we all went for a walk and then retuned relatively early.

We were all very tired despite the short day, so we gave the kids a movie night in the hope of a quiet evening, hence the late blog post. Was all going well until kids decided to use our pontoon as their evening drinking location and talk very loudly just outside our hatch. As it was approaching midnight and there was still no sign of them stopping Patrick got dressed and wandered up on deck. After a while they disappeared and he came back down below looking quite chuffed that his manly presence had done the trick, that was until he realised that the automatic watering system had turned on for the plants alongside and that's what had scared the kids off! Hatches closed we finally got some sleep before our early morning the following day.
