Today we
went to a cannon firing display at a Saluting Battery in Valletta.
In the war
rooms we learned that it took 15 minutes for an aircraft to fly from Sicily to
Malta. We also learned that there was a
big convoy delivering rations and fuel, if the convoy did not reach Malta it would
have to surrender.
